Conditions of sale (AGBs)

All prices are in € (Euro), the prices include postage, package, VAT and shipping by air-mail. A manual as a PDF-file and a hot line (by telephone or by e-mail) are included in the price. The software is delivered by ftp/e-mail. CDs are available at extra costs. Payment by credit card allows a fast delivery (within hours).

Updates for TextQuest, TextGrab, and ConClus: the updates are free for a period of 4 months after shipping date and will be e-mailed. All other updates can be obtained at reduced license costs.

Types of licenses

There are several type of licenses available:

• test version: this is a version that allows you to evaluate the software. It has some restrictions, mostly with the amount of data you can process, or other features are disabled (e.g. printing within TextQuest). From most programs you can download this version for free.
• student license: enrolled students can obtain a single license for their exam, e.g. a B.A., M.A., or for a ph.d. thesis. Other purposes are not allowed, especially to work commercially. An upgrade to other licenses however is available for the difference of the license prices.
• single license: a full version of the software that allows any non-commercial use.
• company license: a full version of the the software that allows also commercial use regardless of the number of computers in one location. If you have more than one location, please call.
• network/institute license: a full version for a network or a university department. Regardless of the number of computers, this version can be used for teaching and research purposes, and also for commercial uses.
• campus license: same as network/institute, but for a whole university in one town, regardless of the number of computers. If a university is based in several towns, please call.
• licenses with free updates: free updates within the chosen time period are delivered by e-mail.

Modes of payment

You can pay in several ways:

• by cheque: cheques in € (Euro) drawn on a German bank are accepted at no extra costs. Please send the cheque in a registered letter.
• by cheque from a non-German bank: please add 20 € (Euro) for bank charges. Delivery may be delayed due to the long clearing period of this type of cheque (approx. 2-3 weeks).
• by remittance: you can remit the money to my bank account (you will receive an e-mail with details). You have to pay all bank charges, so if you remit from outside the EU please add 5 €. If in doubt, please ask me or your bank for details.
• by credit card: Mastercard, Visa, and American Express are currently accepted. Please use the order form and fax this to +49 3672 488495. Please type number and expiration date clearly.
