TextQuest - vocabulary growth

The growth of the vocabulary of a text is measured with the sequence of the TTR values. TTR means type-token-ratio. This is the relation between the number of different character strings (types) and the total number of character strings (tokens) in a text. The TTR-value is dependent on the length of a text, and so a comparison of different values makes only sense after a defined number of words.

The TTR always starts with 1.0 and approaches 0, but it never reaches it. TextQuest computes the TTR-values in defined distances (100, 200, 300, 400, ..., 1000, 2000 etc words). So the values can be compared.
